This “thing” is definitely a bit of a rip off from the old “eat the frog“ saying. It’s all about creating a get’er’done mindset. In my opinion this is the hardest “thing” to incorporate into a day. Most of the time I do it by making a mental list of tasks to accomplish and try to pinpoint the frog in the group. Once the frog is identified, usually the one I dread the most.. I try make it an early priority. Just get’er’done “quick” like ripping off a bandaid. That way the rest of the list typically goes smoothly in comparison. The uncomfortable part of this “thing” is aimed more towards personal growth. Putting yourself in uncomfortable situations can have the affect of raising the bar. With the right mindset, doing uncomfortable “things“ can be a life changing experience. I was inspired by Wim Hof to incorporate being uncomfortable into the Sixquickthings. Wim Hof has literally rewritten medical journals and broken records by being comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I would encourage you to learn more about Wim Hof if you haven’t already heard of him or his accomplishments. You can’t create diamonds without pressure
